December 1st, 2019: The third edition of Once Upon A Kitchen took place at the Frank Gehry-designed New World Center in Miami Beach where guests enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime experience as they dined with four of the world’s top chefs on the same night. Produced by leading international experience agency, the GR8 Group, “Once Upon A Kitchen” brought together Mauro Colagreco, whose restaurant, Mirazur, won first place on the “World’s 50 Best Restaurants” list in 2019, and Massimo Bottura, 2018 champion of the same award and one of TIME Magazines most influential people of 2019.
“This is virtually unheard of,” said Barnabas Carrega, Co-Founder and CEO of GR8 Group. “To be able to dine under the same roof as the back-to-back victors of ‘The World’s 50 Best Restaurants’ is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It’s already rare enough to sample dishes from the No. 1 chef in the world…now, we’re bringing you the creations from two.”
As if this wasn’t exciting enough, the event also featured Alex Atala, whose restaurant, D.O.M., in São Paulo, Brazil, was ranked fourth-best in the world in 2012 and currently holds the title of "Acqua Panna Best Restaurant in South America,” and Antonio Bachour, named best pastry chef in the world at “The Best Chef Awards 2018.”

As exclusive caterer to the New World Center, Thierry Isambert was called to provide serving staff for the event in addition to his team of in-house chefs who assisted backstage with food preparation and plating. Thierry’s vast, fully-equipped Miami commissary also served as the ideal location for the celebrity chefs and their teams to prepare ingredients for three days prior to the event.
