Miami Art Week 2019, La Prairie worked with Spanish artist, Pablo Valbuena, to show “Wave (2019,)” a site-specific artwork on Miami Beach that explores the power of light. Guests of La Prairie were treated to several events leading up to the unveiling of Valbuena’s installation, including a welcome dinner on the New World Center’s rooftop and this event on 1111 Lincoln Road’s iconic 7th floor.
The perfect space to complement the darkness to light theme, 1111 Lincoln Road’s unobstructed views of the Miami skyline allowed guests to observe the changing evening light and the contrast between the dark night and the soft light in venue.
Working closely with the Swiss beauty company, La Prairie, Thierry designed a four-course menu that took guests on a gastronomic voyage from darkness into the shape of light, and he included caviar in every course - a nod to La Prairie’s new Skin Caviar Collection, which is all about unveiling the skin’s luminosity.
