Art Basel Miami, 2019: Desigual presented “Miami Loves Different” at The Temple House, an artistic performanc, “EL BESO,” directed by Catalan artist, Carlota Guerrero, and featuring dancer and model, Lourdes Leon.

Described as a “new kind of fashion show,” the performance featured a giant human sculpture at the back of the Temple House’s main room; guests and photographers were given white jumpsuits, and before the show began, the crowd parted to form an impromptu runway from the front door to the statue.
Thirty models of different ethnicities, styles, sizes and ages, wearing Desigual’s new collection, leaped and danced freely down the runway before taking positions on the statue. The lights changed and the show became an artistic, sensual and provocative piece that garnered much press and commentary for its daring expression of freedom, love, multiculturalism and diversity.
The afterparty featured DJ Black Madonna and animations by Mau Morgo. Our catering team provided passed appetizers, dinner stations and bar service throughout the event.
