The building recently underwent extensive renovations, and in addition to presenting major exhibitions by influential contemporary artists, it is the perfect venue for weddings and other private social and corporate events.

It was a perfect December evening for this beautiful wedding ceremony under the stars, with the Bass’s iconic facade as a backdrop and Collins Park stretched out behind the Chuppa. Typically, couples opt for the ceremony in the Trudy & Paul Cejas gallery, but this balmy South Florida winter evening was perfect for an outdoor event.
The Bass is perfectly located in the heart of South Beach, steps from the beach and the area’s best hotels, making it an ideal venue for destination weddings and out of town guests.
Cocktails in the Trudy & Paul Cejas Gallery followed the ceremony, then dinner and dancing in the Lindemann Family Courtyard. The museum offers a blend of glamour, extravagance, history and culture for one of the most important days in a couple’s life.
