CATERING AN EXCLUSIVE ART WEEK DINNER WITH W MAG AND ICA MIAMI / by Eric Monteiro

To kick off Miami Art Week, Kris and Mary Hinson, trustees of ICA Miami, hosted an intimate dinner at their private waterfront estate with W Mag and Au Départ, bringing together artists, curators, and patrons to celebrate 5 artists, Lucy Bull, Ding Shilun, Marguerite Humeau, Keiichi Tanaami, and Rubem Valentim, who had their work on display at the museum. Our team was honored to provide catering for the evening, ensuring the dining experience reflected the elegance and significance of the occasion. The event was featured in W Mag (check out the link below.)

The menu featured carefully curated hors d’oeuvres such as Parmesan tuiles with tender beef carpaccio, compressed watermelon paired with crispy chicken chicharron, and potato crystals topped with caviar and gold leaf. Guests also enjoyed coastal flavors with fresh Florida lobster rolls and pan-seared crab cakes, while vegetarian offerings like burrata tarts with tomato jam and delicate summer rolls rounded out the selection.

Signature cocktails from Broken Shaker, including spicy margaritas and citrus-forward lemon drops, added a vibrant touch to the evening. To end on a sweet note, Thierry Isambert’s signature petit fours, such as golden lips made from Valrhona chocolate and tangy key lime sablés, left a lasting impression.

The understated elegance of the evening highlighted Thierry Isambert Culinary & Event Design’s commitment to providing seamless and refined service, allowing the hosts and their guests to fully enjoy this special celebration of Miami’s vibrant art scene.
