DISCOVER A SPRING BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION UNDER THE STARS [VIZCAYA MUSEUM & GARDENS] / by Eric Monteiro

What better way to mark an important milestone than gathering family and friends under the stars on a balmy spring evening in Miami? Add the lavish backdrop of the magnificent Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, some unique entertainment, champagne and hors d’oeuvres at sunset, followed by a gourmet three course meal, and we guarantee you’ll have all the ingredients for a stellar occasion with memories to last a lifetime! 

As the sun went down over Biscayne Bay, guests arrived via Vizcaya’s walkway which was flanked by our uniformed waiters offering Champagne and Sparkling Water. The cocktail party on the South Terrace, and in the exquisite Vizcaya Gardens, featured live music, Ballerinas in Bubbles, and waiters offering trays of delicious small bites such as Phyllo Brie Cranberry Ginger Tapenade, Mini Quesadillas and Passion Seared Tuna on Crisp Wonton Topped with Mango Salsa and Wasabi Cream! There was even a Kosher Sushi Station.

The three course dinner al fresco on the East Terrace overlooking the bay featured favorite menu items like our Cloche Terranium Salad appetizer, and Sakyo Miso Sea Bass and Filet Mignon entrees. Kids enjoyed Chicken Tenders, French Fries and whimsically plated Pasta offerings. The dinner was punctuated with toasts to the honored guest for his birthday, and live entertainment, including a magician whose performance left everyone guessing!
