CATERING FOR CREW & TALENT: BACKSTAGE AT THE BOSS FASHION SHOW IN MIAMI / by Eric Monteiro

At the heart of Miami's vibrant fashion scene, our team were on site at the Ice Palace Studios catering the all meals for production crew, corporate VIPs, celebrities and talent for the 4 days of preparations and rehearsals leading up to the Boss Spring/Summer 2023 runway show. The Boss brand, a millennial-focused division of Hugo Boss, pulled out all the stops for a dazzling event that left an indelible mark on all attendees.

The high-profile extravaganza that took place on March 15th showcased a stunning runway that appeared to float on water, featuring a waterfall adorned with the iconic Boss logo. Top-tier models and celebrities such as Naomi Campbell, Pamela Anderson, Amber Valletta, and the recently retired stylist Law Roach graced the runway, elevating the event's allure. The star-studded front row boasted celebrities like Maluma, Demi Lovato, Bella Thorne, and Suki Waterhouse, who were all there to witness the mesmerizing show.

Our team showcased its expertise in catering crew meals, talent meals and production agency staff meals throughout the rehearsals and preparation at the Ice palace Studios. The highest quality service and a delicious dining experience was applied to breakfast and lunch stations for everyone behind the scenes.

Ensuring that models, talent, and production crews on set and backstage have access to delicious, high-quality catered meals is  important in the fast-paced world of entertainment. Behind the seemingly fun and glamorous facade of these jobs lies a demanding reality, characterized by early call times, long hours, and the need for a certain amount of physical and mental endurance. Top-notch catering behind the scenes is more than just providing food, it also serves as an indispensable morale booster for the entire team. A well-fed and satisfied crew feels appreciated and valued, leading to increased motivation, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to delivering their best work. In this way, catering transcends its basic function as a sustenance provider and becomes an essential ingredient for fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, ultimately contributing to the success of the production as a whole.
