Set inside The Temple House, Annalyn and Narain’s Miami Beach Sangeet unfolded in a whirl of color, family, and all-night dancing. Their full wedding was proudly featured in Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, take a peek here.
SETTING THE SCENE: MIAMI
The Temple House is already a top Miami Beach venue, and for this celebration it transformed into a living canvas. Projection-mapped visuals washed the walls in saturated pinks, oranges, and fresh greens, a nod to Miami’s tropical palette and the couple’s love of bold color. From the first welcome to the last dance, the energy never dipped: choreographed performances, heartfelt toasts, and a packed dance floor kept the program flowing.
COCKTAIL HOUR ON THE ROOFTOP
Guests arrived to a lively cocktail hour with an upbeat, convivial rhythm, perfect for mingling between the mezzanine and the outdoor terrace. Our team passed a mix of classic Sangeet favorites and global bites:
Lamb shami kabob and tandoori lamb chops—aromatic, tender, and deeply spiced.
Chicken satay with a silky peanut sauce—comforting and familiar with a polished finish.
Lollipop shrimp with yucca crust and guava BBQ—Miami’s sweet–savory signature in one bite.
Pan-seared crab cakes with chervil rémoulade—crisp-edged, delicate inside.
Paneer pakoda & minced vegetable pakoda—crunchy, golden, and served with mint, coconut, and tamarind accents.
Hara bhara kabob—herbaceous and satisfying, a vegetarian crowd-pleaser.
THE CHAAT STATION
Because no Sangeet is complete without chaat, we built an interactive station that balanced tradition and presentation:
Pani Puri perched over shot glasses of mint water, with a playful hibiscus–blackcurrant twist available for adventurous palates.
Sev Puri—crisp bases layered with potato, onion, tamarind, chili, and garlic chutney.
Samosa Chaat—cool yogurt and bright tamarind tying the whole bite together.
The result was equal parts flavor and show crafted by our Indian wedding catering team in Miami: hands-on, photogenic, and buzzing with guests returning for “just one more.”
DINNER: FOUR STATIONS, ONE STORY
As the celebration moved downstairs, we opened four story-driven stations that were global, generous, and joyfully eclectic. The Floribbean Grill brought sunshine to the room with bright Miami flavors, think crisp greens, grilled local fish with mango, and golden tostones (with both seafood and veg-forward fillings). At the El Taquería station, hand-pressed tortillas set the stage for a build-your-own moment, from achiote-spiced chicken to jackfruit and mahi, finished with all the right fresh accents. “Little Dishes of Italy” leaned into late-night comfort: bruschetta and Caesar to start, then silky risotto, pillowy gnocchi, and delicate ravioli alongside old-world favorites like chicken Marsala and shrimp scampi. For pure fun, the Chic Slider Bar kept everyone moving; fried chicken and waffles, crab cake brioche, and quinoa-edamame sliders, plus a flurry of hot, salty sides perfect for one more spin on the dance floor.
DESSERT HOUR: SWEET FINALE
We flipped a station into a jewel-box dessert display from 9:30–10:30 PM, a final burst of color and texture:
Petit fours like Key Lime sablé on a graham base.
Acrylic dessert shots: tiramisu, three-chocolate mousse, guava con queso, and bright yuzu mousseline.
Gulab jamun with chocolate shavings—a gentle nod to tradition, polished for a late-night crowd.
SERVICE THAT DANCED WITH THE ROOM
Great catering at a Sangeet isn’t just about flavor, it’s about flow. Our captain coordinated service to move in rhythm with the performances and speeches, keeping stations refreshed and lines light. Passing teams floated between dance sets so no one had to choose between a bite and a moment on the floor. The result: a night that felt seamless, generous, and full of surprises.
This Sangeet was everything we love about Miami celebrations: bold, inclusive, and alive with family. We were honored to be part of it, and thrilled that the couple’s full wedding story was featured by Grace Ormonde Wedding Style. If you’re planning a Sangeet in Miami (or beyond) and want a menu that feels like you, we’d love to help craft it.
