Wedding Celebration At The Alfred I Dupont Building

The exquisite South Ballroom of the historic Alfred I. Dupont building was the perfect venue for a lavish wedding celebration, catered last week by Thierry Isambert Culinary and Event Design. The building is Miami’s only Art Deco Skyscraper and was designated an historic landmark in 1992.

The couple are both from Miami and have known each other since high school. The bride looked stunning in a gown straight out of Berta’s 2016 Spring collection, and guests enjoyed our dinner stations featuring some of the couple’s favorite foods.

Holy Cross, a non-profit hospital, held its annual fundraising gala on April 16th at Design Center Of The Americas. This year was extra special for Holy Cross because it marks 60 years serving our community. Thierry Isambert Culinary and Event Design helped them celebrate in style with the "Epicurean escapade, 2016: A Food And Wine Experience," an evening of gourmet food and fine wine from exciting global culinary destinations. A special mention goes to Jan Moran and JM Family Enterprises for donating $1 million to the cardio vascular intensive care unit, after donating $6 million in 2000. They also matched $1 for every $1.60 donated by the community which helped reach the goal of raising $26 million this year. (Event Coordinator: David Johnson)
