Art Basel week, Miami: Fashion and art united with beautiful synergy at the Dior Homme dinner celebrating the launch of the new “Black Carpet” line. Dior Homme's artistic director, Kris Van Assche, partnered with the Laffanour Galerie Downtown Paris to host the celebratory dinner at The Webster. Stunning original Akari light sculptures by Japanese-American artist, Isamu Noguchi, were on display along with six lamps created in the style of Noguchi, by Kris Van Assche.
Dior Homme’s new “Black Carpet” collection was lined up along one side of the long dining table, set beneath the soft light of the Noguchi lamps. Special guests included Kris Van Assche (Artistic director, Dior Homme,) Francois Laffanour, Laure Herald Dubreuil (co-founder/CEO, The Webster,) Ricky Martin, Cordell Broadus, Mia Morettti, ASAP Rocky, and Architectural Digest editor, Amy Astley. Catering and event production was managed by Thierry Isambert Culinary and Event Design planner, Elysabeth Saccone.
