Thierry’s brought deliciously chic touches to recent fêtes held for renowned brands Creed and Cult Gaia in Miami Design District
What happens when two top luxury and fashion brands want to make a splash in Miami? Thierry’s is called upon to bring their contemporary creative vision to the occasions. Select menus of dishes that look as beautiful as they taste were created for recent cocktail parties organized by legendary French fragrance house Creed, and trendy Los Angeles-based label Cult Gaia, held separately at swanky Miami Design District.
AN ETHOS OF SUPERBNESS
Creed, one of the most prestigious fragrance houses with a legacy that spans decades, celebrated their newest fragrance launch Wind Flowers with an outdoor cocktail joined by VIPs and friends of the house in Miami Design District. Inspired by the grace of a dancer’s movement, Wind Flowers was brought to life during the evening’s event, which included a dance ensemble, floral installation, and delicate soft music evoking the delicate, sensual nature of the fragrance. Trays of colorful veggie spring rolls, filet mignon bites, and pastel-hued macarons in honor of the French brand were presented during the event, where guests also sipped on chilled flutes of Champagne and a specialty cocktail created by Thierry’s mixologists.
LA-COOL MEETS MIAMI-GLAM
A few weeks later, Miami’s fashion set gathered to celebrate the anticipated arrival of sustainable Los-Angeles-based label Cult Gaia, which garnered social media fame thanks to its coveted “Ark” bag. The label opened its yearlong pop-up in the Miami Design District with a cocktail party cohosted by influencer Aureta and catered by Thierry’s. Attendees—many clad in the brand’s sexy, body-con items—dined on an array of enticing appetizers like Thierry’s signature tuna tartare cones, caviar-topped blinis, and mini-empanadas, as they shopped for new Cult Gaia pieces to add to their summer wardrobes. The 2,000-square-foot space marks the company’s sole retail store until a same-sized, permanent flagship opens on Melrose Place in Los Angeles this summer. Rumor has it, the Miami location could also become permanent.
Looks like good fashion—and food—is here to stay.
