THE WOLFSONIAN: Catering the Opening of "Modern Dutch Design" | Featuring "More is More" by Dutch Artist, Christie Van Der Haak / by Eric Monteiro

Thierry Isambert Culinary and Event Design catered the opening of Modern Dutch Design at the Wolfsonian, featuring the largest public art installation in Miami, “More is More," by Dutch artist, Christie Van Der Haak.

The artist has created a striking encounter with contemporary Dutch design by wrapping the Wolfsonian’s exterior and lobby with her signature tapestry and batik inspired patterns.

Event producer, Caron Cole, made serving trays that echoed the artist’s striking geometric designs, and the menu featured authentic Caribbean-Dutch delicacies such as Kibberling (a Dutch fish delicacy,) Bitterballen (beef croquetas) and vegan Dutch Pea Soup Shooters.
