ANNE GEDDES: FIRST US EXHIBITION IN THE DESIGN DISTRICT WITH THE NICKLAUS CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL / by Eric Monteiro

September 13, 2018 - The Nicklaus Children’s Hospital presented Anne Geddes’s first official gallery exhibition in the US at the Moore Building in Miami’s Design District. The show featured a series of her iconic images of babies and children, with a portion of the proceeds going towards the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Fetal Care Center.

Anne Geddes is a world renowned photographer and philanthropist, most famous for her unique photos of babies. Her books have made the New York Times Best Seller List several times, and in 2017, she was inducted into the International Photographic Hall of Fame.

In 2017, she was also inducted into the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Ambassador David M. Walters International Pediatric Hall of Fame for her contribution to the health and well-being of children worldwide.

The festivities culminated in a celebration of Anne Geddes birthday which happened to coincide with the event.
