Last week, Thierry Isambert Culinary and Event Design catered weddings and corporate events, a VIP baby shower for a prominent Miami Heat basketball player and some ground breaking ceremonies to kick off construction of luxurious new Miami real estate projects.

The Bath Club, one of Miami's prime venues, was the setting for a fun wedding we catered recently. The bride is from Venezuela, the groom hails from Germany, and they both moved to Miami for work and met here. Our service staff helped kick off the Hora Loca, waving flags representing the 20 different nationalities in attendance. Everyone partied into the wee hours, so we set up late night bite stations featuring traditional German and Venezuelan comfort food. Sixty guests attended a beautiful, intimate wedding celebration at Vizcaya. This was a destination wedding with the Bride and Groom and many of the guests flying in from Minnesota. We catered a sit down dinner, with the theme being "All-American" steakhouse. Filet Mignon, Grilled Chicken, Yukon Mash and French fries were some of the options served family style at each table.

The desserts were really extraordinary! The bride and groom wanted to wow everyone with an alternative to the classic wedding cake. We styled a lavish display, including antique drawers with moss and raffia containing cream puffs presented on forks, along with gold glittered donuts looking like a tiered wedding cake next to mini banana cream pies and mini chocolate lava cakes.  We set up a full bar and served artisinal cheeses and crudités for a cocktail party fundraising event for a renowned national foundation doing great work helping students from lower income families navigate the path to a higher education

This appears to be the season of groundbreaking events for a few major construction firms and real estate developers. Hired by a top PR firm, we did full production for a ground breaking breakfast in Aventura, attended by the mayor, realtors, executives and Investors. Mimosas and champagne flowed while guests enjoyed tea pastries, quiches and other breakfast delicacies.

A different PR firm called us to cater an evening cocktail ground breaking event where wine and cheese were served. Southern Wine and Spirits sponsored the event and we paired artisanal cheeses and charcuterie with the 12 featured wines on the menu.

We were thrilled to cater a charming baby shower for one of the Miami Heat's prominent players. After the hors d'oeuvres passed around by our servers, a southern style four course dinner for 60 guests was served on the terrace of their beautiful home. The menu included gourmet Mac n Cheese, short rib and chicken waffles.

The owner of an international Spanish language TV station held a corporate dinner at his private home in Miami Beach. The dinner opened 4 days of meetings and seminars for employees from around the world. Dinner al fresco was served after an hour of cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.

A destination management company hired us to cater a 3 course sit down dinner on the New World Symphony rooftop for a prominent national financial institution. Guests dined under the stars, overlooking impressive views of surrounding Miami Beach. After a menu consisting of "surf and turf" and vegan options, the VIP guests headed downstairs for an evening of music.

One of Thierry Isambert Culinary and Event Design's event producers, Peter Key, sits on the board of the Miami Light Box. They commission up and coming artistic talents and show case their work. We offer a simple concession service throughout the year for all of these events. From April 7-9th, they featured PET, a theater work written and performed by Miami-basedactor/writer/dancer, Rudi Goblen, back by popular demand.
